Back Pain

Back pain is the single leading cause of disability worldwide and the most common reason for missed work.  It is also one of the top reasons people seek medical attention in the US, and it is notoriously tough to treat.  Experts estimate that as many as 80% of the population will experience back pain at some time in their lives.  Most cases of back pain are not caused by serious conditions, such as arthritis, infection, or accidents, they are caused by good old fashioned muscle strains and tears.

There are 27 different Trigger Points from 14 different muscles that will refer pain into the upper, middle and/or lower back.  Because Back Pain can be caused by so many different Muscles/Trigger Points, NeuroMuscular Therapy is a valuable technique in treating Back Pain.
